1981 Studies at the Faculty of Automation of Kaunas Polytechnic Institute; graduated with a degree in electromechanical engineering
1999 Master‘s degree in Public administration at Kaunas University of Technology
1981–1985 Appointed engineering and head of technology office at Kaunas “Energoremontas” company
1985–1990 Chief foreman at the Kaunas industrial complex of training courses
1989–1990 Production department chief at the Kaunas radio company “Banga”
1990–1995 Founder and manager of the design studio
1995–2004 Elected member of the Kaunas Region Municipality Council
1995–1997 Elected vice-mayor of the Kaunas Region Municipality
1997–2000 Elected mayor of the Kaunas Region Municipality
2000–2001 Director of the Regional Development Department of the Kaunas County Governor’s Administration
2000–2004 Member of the Kaunas Regional Development Council
2001–2004 Commercial risk director of Kaunas branch of AB “Lietuvos draudimas” and Kaunas Region manager
2004–2008 elected to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania at the Kaunas kaimiskoji multi-member constituency No. 66
2008 re-elected to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania
